Monika Tsvetkova

Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR)

Monika Tsvetkova is a Projects Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and she manages the Exploratory Research Grands under the Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries (PEDL) programme. Additionally, she is responsible for the coordination of the CEPR donor-funded projects.

Prior to this, Monika worked as a Project Coordinator for the American University in Bulgaria and Global Events Coordinator at Student Recruitment Tours. 

She holds a MSc in Public Administration from Leiden University and a BA in European Studies from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She wrote her dissertation on regulatory effectiveness and the impact of independent regulatory agencies on the railways sector. She specialised in energy regulation during her traineeship at the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
