Arun Chandrasekhar

Arun Chandrasekhar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Stanford University where he researches applied microeconomics, developmental economics, and political economy. His most recent work has centered around understanding social network structure and how these structures may be harnessed as a policy and research tool. In addition to his work at Stanford, Chandrasekhar was a postdoctorial researcher at Microsoft Research. He is a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Arun received his undergraduate education in mathematics and economics from Columbia University and went on to earn his PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
