Beáta Itin-Shwarz is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, focusing on empirical industrial organization. She completed a joint special research program for her MA in Economics at both the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv University Department of Economics, with a thesis on the effect of public policy on market performance using an empirical study of the Indian market for Potassium Fertilizers. Her research fields comprises Industrial Organization, Development Economics and Applied Econometrics. Her interests include Firm Dynamics, Global Food Markets, Geographical Analysis and Big Data.
