Congratulations to PEDL grantee Dave Donaldson!

PEDL wishes the warmest congratulations to Dave Donaldson on winning the John Bates-Clark Medal as the economist under age 40 having made the most significant contribution to the field.

To quote the prize committee, "he has not only established himself as a leader in the field, but he has also formed and become the principal practitioner of a distinctive style of research, based on important conceptual questions, careful data work and credible identification combined with state-of-the-art structural methods. Donaldson's research adds profound insight into classic and fundamental issues in international trade."
