David Yang

David Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Harvard University and a Postsdoctoral Fellow at J-PAL at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. David's research focuses on political economy, behavioral and experimental economics, economic history, and cultural economics. In particular, he studies the forces of stability and forces of changes in authoritarian regimes, drawing lessons from historical and contemporary China. David received a BA in Statistics, a BS in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in Economics from Stanford.
