Denis Akouwerabou is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Centre d’Études, de Documentation, de Recherche Économiques et Sociales at Université Ouaga II. His research up-to-date has examined the impact of public markets’ corruption on the development of private enterprises in the urban areas of Burkina Faso, the impact of formal education on the productivity of the agricultural sector in rural areas. In the past he was a member of the Micro-Impact of Macroeconomic Adjustment Policies project where he analyzed inequality and poverty in Burkina Faso.
