Diego Ubfal is an Economist at the Africa Region Gender Innovation Lab at the World Bank. His research interests include entrepreneurship with focus on business training, soft-skills development, networks and innovation; human capital formation and the transition from school to work; financial access, and attitudes towards minorities. Diego holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MA in Economics from the University of San Andrés and a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
