Edward Glaeser is the Fred and Eleanor Glimp Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. His research interests include economic growth, law and economics with a particular focus on the determinants of city growth and the role of cities as centres of idea transmission. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago.
