Elias Papaioannou is an Associate Professor of Economics at the London Business School. Prior to LBS. He completed his PhD in Economics at the London Business School, his Masters in Public Policy and Administration at Columbia University, and his Bachelor’s in Law at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research focuses on international finance, political economy, applied econometrics, macro aspects of regulation, law and finance, and growth and development. He also consults regularly with international organizations, major investment banks, hedge funds, and institutional investors on macroeconomic developments in EU and Greece.
