Emily Breza

Emily Breza is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. She received her Ph.D. from the MIT Economics Department and focuses on development economics and household finance in her studies. She is particularly interested in how financial decision-making interacts with both social effects and behavioural biases, and how financial product design can better integrate these factors. She is an affiliate of JPAL, NBER, IGC, BREAD, CEPR and a member of the Y-RISE spillover, network & equilibrium effects working group.
