Kenneth Lee

Kenneth is the incoming Director of the Air Quality Life Index (AQLI). Developed by economists at the University of Chicago, the AQLI is an interactive platform that converts air pollution concentrations into their hypothetical impact on life expectancy. Prior to this role, he was the Executive Director of the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago in India (EPIC India).

As a researcher, Kenneth works on topics related to international development, environmental and energy economics. He completed a PhD and MSc at UC Berkeley, an MIA at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a BCom at McGill University. Prior to graduate school, he worked as an investment banker in Toronto and London covering media and telecoms companies in Africa, Europe, and Canada.
