Manuel García-Santana

Manuel García-Santana's research focuses on the aggregate impact of firm dynamics and misallocation of resources. His recent projects use firm-level data and general equilibrium models to quantify the income and productivity losses derived from the presence of economic distortions. One of his works, "The Small Scale Reservation Laws and the Misallocation of Production Factors", has recently been accepted for publication in the Journal of Monetary Economics. Manu is currently a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ECARES). He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at CEMFI in 2012.
