Mariajose Silva-Vargas is a PhD Fellow at the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University & UNU-Merit. Her research focuses on the social and economic integration of refugees, and complex constraints in land markets. Mariajose holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from Ghent University and Humboldt University of Berlin and a BS in Political Science from Roma Tre University.
