Martí Mestieri has a research focus on international trade and economic growth. His research analyzes how technology adoption, human capital acquisition and different trade regimes affect economic growth and income inequality across and within countries. He is currently a Senior Economist in the Economic Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University.
