Maya Duru is the Associate Director of Education at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab. Her research interests include democracy and governance, social safety nets, agricultural economics, and nutrition. Maya holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, an MSc in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a BA in Development from the University of California, Berkeley.
