Monika Tsvetkova

Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR)

Monika Tsvetkova is a Projects Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and she is responsible for the management and administration of the PEDL Programme. Currently, she coordinates the Major Research Grants and assists grantees with the planning, implementation and reporting of their projects. Additionally, Monika is responsible for the management of other CEPR donor-funded projects and research networks.

Prior to this, Monika worked as a Project Coordinator for the American University in Bulgaria and Global Events Coordinator at Student Recruitment Tours. 

She holds an MSc in Public Administration from Leiden University and a BA in European Studies from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She wrote her dissertation on regulatory effectiveness and the impact of independent regulatory agencies on the railway's sector. She specialised in energy regulation during her traineeship at the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
