Chris Woodruff, Scientific Coordinator for PEDL, presented the PEDL Programme to an IDRC-DFID workshop that took place 26th-27th January 2012. The School of Oriental and African Studies hosted the event entitled, Expert meeting on Women’s economic empowerment, labour markets, entrepreneurship and inclusive growth: towards a research agenda. The purpose of the meeting was to provide a strategic forum for reflection and dialogue on evidence gaps, current and emerging issues in the field, and contribute to shaping both IDRC’s and DFID’s global research agenda on inclusive growth and gender equality.
