Solomon Zena Walelign

Solomon Zena Walelign is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Visiting Scholar at the University of California Berkeley, a research fellow at the World Bank, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He completed  a double Ph.D. in Environmental and Resource Economics at University of Copenhagen and in Forest Sciences at Georg-August University of Göttingen in January 2017. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Copenhagen, Visiting Scholar at the University of South Carolina, a par time consultant at the World Bank, and Assistant Lecturer at University of Gondar. Solomon’s main research focus are livelihoods, poverty, ethnic violence, land transaction, and climate change resettlement, and conducted field work in Nepal, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania.
