Tang Xiaoyang is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Tsinghua University and a Resident Scholar and Deputy Director of the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy. His research interests include political philosophy, China’s modernization process, and China’s engagement in Africa. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research.
