Thuso Mphela is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Pécs and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana. His PhD research investigates the effect of transparent procurement of medicine supplies (influenced by Clinical Governance) on health outcomes. Before moving to Hungary on full-time studies, Thuso was a coordinator of the Global Consultancy Program (GCP), an international student consulting project and served as a Business Coach in the Global Business Labs. He led a team of more than ten researchers in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Botswana chapter. He is currently a member of a multi-nation research team engaged in life-skills, entrepreneurship and sports research project targeting youth, under the auspices of Alliance for African Partnership (Michigan State University). Thuso is also a founding member of the The European American Migration Platform (TEAMHP).
