Business incubators and entrepreneurship development in Africa’s innovation systems: a bibliometric review

Abstract

Business incubators are a useful policy tool for spurring and supporting entrepreneurial businesses, but we know too little about their impact in Africa. This project collects background data and takes stock of the current academic literature, as a first step towards a deeper understanding of what makes incubators successful and what impact they have across the continent.
