Aditi Sengupta

Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR)

Aditi is the PEDL Research Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). She is responsible for the research-side of management and administration of the PEDL Programme. Her roles include assessing the scientific contribution of research proposals and evaluating the impact of Exploratory Research Grants and Major Research Grants. She also tracks the research-progress of PEDL grants, and is responsible for the dissemination and advertising of the results of funded projects for both broad audience and researchers.

Aditi has work experience in economic research from policy-oriented think tanks and academic institutions. She holds a M.Sc. Economics (with a specialisation in Development Economics) from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a M.Res. in Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE) from the Paris School of Economics. Her Master’s thesis was an applied-theory study that analysed how inter- and intra- generational and regional nested inequalities are affected by the transisiton from brown to green energy sources. She also holds a B.Sc. Economics (Honours) from Symbiosis School of Economics, India.
