Jonathan Colmer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia, the Co-Founder and Director of the Environmental Inequality Lab, and Theme Leader of the Climate & Environment research theme at PEDL (CEPR). He is also a research affiliate of IZA, the CESifo Network, and the IGC, a research associate at the Center for Economic Performance and the CAGE Research Centre. Jonathan is an environmental economist, who also works in the area of growth and development economics. His research combines data with insights from economic theory and environmental science to better understand how economic activity and the environment influence one another.
