Laura Schechter

Laura Schechter is a Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics, and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research lies at the intersection of development economics and behavioral economics, mostly using experiments to help understand behaviour in the context of trust and trustworthiness, and risk and vulnerability. Laura holds a PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics, an MSc in Agricultural & Resource Economics and a BA in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
