Lauren Waring

Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR)

Lauren is the Projects Officer at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). She administers the Exploratory Research Grants and works with grantees in complying to budget and contract requirements.

 

Prior to this, Lauren worked as the Programme Officer for RedR UK, an international capacity-building NGO that provides humanitarian training and technical support. She was responsible for the administration and management of training programmes worldwide.

 

Lauren holds a MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford. Her Master’s thesis was on the dispute between Timor-Leste and Australia over maritime boundaries and gas reserves, and the relationship between those resources and Timorese development. She also holds a Honours Bachelor’s degree in Indonesian Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political, Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Sydney.
