Michel Serafinelli is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Essex. He was previously at the University of Toronto and holds a PhD from Berkeley. He is also a Research Fellow at IZA and CReAM. He studies the causes and the effects of differences across local labour markets in labour market outcomes, innovation and other economic and socio-institutional variables.
