Nicola Limodio

Nicola Limodio is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Bocconi University. His research focuses on the study of financial institutions in emerging markets: their specific constraints and optimal regulation. Understanding these issues is central to stimulate the quantity and quality of credit, which can promote structural transformation and development. His main projects are taking place in Pakistan and Ethiopia. He also studies the intersection between finance, development and organizational economics. He received his PhD in Economics from the London School of Econoics and Political Science with a focus on Banking, Development Economics and Corporate Finance. Before that, he worked for nine months as a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank (Development Economics Vice-Presidency) in Washington DC.
