Raissa is an Assistant Professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research fields are in development and labor economics. Her work is primarily related to understanding constraints on learning and the accumulation of human capital in developing countries and evaluating interventions and policies that could mitigate those barriers.
