Yongseok Shin

Yongseok Shin is a Professor of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. Before Washington University, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a Research Fellow of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the National Bureau of Economic Research. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and his B.A. in Economics from Seoul National University in Korea. His research interests include macroeconomics, economic growth, economic integration, and labor economics.

Researcher's Grant Projects

A unique study collects North Korean data and estimates a structural model to simulate the potential reunification and integration scenario for the economies of North and South Korea.
